2017 Fox Valley Scuba Club Steak Fry

Attention all Divers & Non Divers Alike – Welcome to 2017 Dive Season!
Fox Valley Scuba Club invites you to join us for our annual Steak Fry on April 23rd, 2017 at the Whiting Boat House in Neenah WI.
Come join us for an afternoon of socializing, share your diving experiences, then enjoy some snacks while listening to the speaker and stay for dinner.  There will be door prizes and guessing games too.
We will have a special presentation from Chuck Ramsey’s. His 45-year career found him to be the source of news for an entire generation of Green Bay area viewers from 1965 to 2002. A 1957 graduate of Brown Institute of Radio and Television, he served his first eight years in broadcasting in radio in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He became Sports Director/Anchor at WBAY‑TV in 1965 and in 1971 became its News Anchor, continuing as one of Green Bay’s leading newscasters for the next 31 years. During his career, he was active in fund raising and supporting for the Boy Scouts, Cerebral Palsy Research, the March of Dimes, and the Fox Valley Domestic Abuse Center and was an elder at his Green Bay Community Church. He retired from broadcasting at the end of 2002. He will be sharing his past news stories on the great lakes and shipwrecks with us. These are some stories you don’t want to miss out on this year!
The main dishes will be provided: a big juicy steak, baked potato, mushrooms with onions and butter, coffee and soda.  Members will bring dishes to pass to fill out the menu.
Please note the Whiting Boat House does not provide utensils and dishes.  Each individual will need to bring your own plates, utensils and any other drinks you may like. Just think of it as going on a picnic and your bringing your picnic basket.  There is an outside patio which has some picnic tables and lawn area space to enjoy.

12 noon – 1 pm – set up,
1:00 pm door open,
3:30 pm Speaker
